FIRST EDITION. The text of the Appendix includes a copy of the Charter to the Governor and Company of Hudson's Bay. Interviewed for the report were Joseph Robson, Richard White, Matthew Serjeant, John Hayter, Matthew Gwynne, Edward Thompson and others, all of whom had spent considerable time in the Hudson's Bay region. Robson had spent a total of six years there, first in 1733 and then in 1745 (see lot 443). Sabin 33548.
