THREE UNMOUNTED PEAR-SHAPED COLORED DIAMONDS
Comprising three pear-shaped fancy deep yellow diamonds, weighing approximately 38.28, 32.15 and 29.60 carats
With reports 0203222, 0203223 and 0203224 dated 11 September 2003 from the Gübelin Gemmological Laboratory stating that the pear-shaped diamonds are fancy deep yellow, natural color, VS1 clarity. Accompanied by an additional comment stating that such a perfectly matched set of Fancy Deep Yellow, natural color, pear-shaped diamonds, each weighing an average of 30 carats, is very rare (3)

Please note that this lot has three additional reports dated 20 March 2007 from the Gemological Institute of America stating that the diamonds are fancy deep brownish yellow, natural color, VS1 clarity; accompanied by two working diagram indicating that the clarity for two diamonds, weighing approximately 29.60 and 38.28 carats, may be potentially internally flawless.

The fancy yellow range of diamonds represents less than one percent of the entire world diamond supply. The classification of fancy deep yellow-darker tone and strong saturation coveted by collectors-is caused by nitrogen, single, isolated atoms that replace the carbon atoms in the diamond structure.

To offer three fancy deep yellow diamonds, whose individual weights total 100 carats, is remarkable. To add to its rarity, these exceptional pear-shapes were all cut from the same rough, resulting in their perfectly-matched golden saturated color and corresponding clarity.
