The related signed watercolour, also in the same sense, is in the Pierpont Morgan Library, New York (Schnackenburg, op.cit., no. 206). A picture, signed and dated 1667, with a closely comparable composition also in this sense but without the child in front of the doorway, was offered at Christie's, London, 8 July 1994, lot 82, illustrated. Schnackenburg dates this plate to after 1670, confirmed by Slatkes who dates it to circa 1671-9.
