Of shallow form with near vertical sides and flat centre on short foot, the white interior with dense black and red strapwork forming four heavy black roundels each encompassing a quatrefoil medallion, the interstices with fine scrolling designs, in simple geometric border, the exterior with simple diagonal black stripes, repaired breaks
13½in. (34.3cm.) diam.
