Persian manuscript on blue paper, 12ll. of very fine alternating large and small nasta'liq in clouds reserved against gold ground, with blue quatrefoils in interstices, the margins finely illuminated in gold, blue and colours, very good condition, framed and glazed

Lot Essay

A copy of the Munajat nama signed by Mir Imad al-Hasani and dated AH 1010/1601-2 AD in the Gulistan Library in Tehran contains a folio almost identical in content and layout to the present folio (published in facsimile in Tehran, Golestan Palace, 1999).
