Of rounded form with slightly everted rim, on short slightly splayed foot, the exterior engraved with a central band of arabesques radiating from roundels of regular flowering vine, between borders of meandering floral pattern, an inscription band above, of nasta'liq contained within cartouches and alternating with smaller cusped medallions

The isncriptions around the rim have a Persian quatrain followed by a couplet. The owner's name is given as "The servant of the King of Trusteeship, Mehr 'Ali".
A later owner has inscribed his name as Haji Sadeq
