JAPAN, 19TH CENTURY
Decorated in the Iznik style on white ground with coloured enamels and gilt with a central cartouche on red ground encompassing a stylised motif in blue red and gold surrounded by a blue roundel with floral sprays and leaves, the cavetto with radiating red arcade, in a breaking wave and scrolling motif border, slightly rubbed
14¾in. (37.5cm.) diam.
