A MOROCCAN INSET AND ENAMELLED GOLD PENDANT
PROBABLY FEZ, FIRST HALF 19TH CENTURY
The drop-shaped pendant with upper filigree gold panels with scrolling wire supporting inset small gems, three pendants below, supported with a box contruction, the reverse finely engraved and enamelled in a variety of colours, hinged above to open the rear panel, an upped loop similarly worked in filigree with scrolls below an applied miniature "hand of Fatima", supported on multiple strands of seed-pearls linked at intervals by openwork and enamelled gold beads and emeralds
