PROBABLY DANISH, 19TH CENTURY
The kings with petal crowns and contrasting finials, on multi-knopped baluster stems, the queens and bishops also with contrasting finials, the knights as horses' heads, the rooks as towers with spires
The king -- 4 1/8in. (10.5cm.) high; the pawn -- 1 7/8in. (4.8cm.) high
