EARLY 19TH CENTURY
The kings and queens with urn-shaped and disc knopped shafts with chip-carved edges
The king -- 2 5/8in. (6.6cm.) high; the pawn -- 1 5/8in. (4cm.) high
Together with a pine bentwood box, the interior of the lid paper lined and inscribed in ink, with an additional later section of inscribed paper added to the bottom side -- 6½in. (16.5cm.) wide
