The kings and queens mounted with crowns, each king with a sceptre, and queen with a cub, the bishops with walking canes, the knights as muzzled bears, the rooks as bears holding shields, the pawns as standing bears
The king -- 3½in. (9cm.) high; the pawn -- 2¾in. (7cm.) high
