A PAIR OF OTTOMAN LIDDED SILVER VESSELS, TURKEY, DATED 1319AH/1901
Of cylidrical form, hammered and engraved in the Egyptian style, the lower section of each divided into registers of calligraphic cartouches alternating with roundels, an inscription around the upper section interrupted by a shield on which the date and female owner is inscribed, the lids separate, engraved with repeating designs and bird finial, with the silver tugra mark of Abdülhamid II (1876-1909) - 5 1/4in.
