A PAIR OF OTTOMAN TORTOISE SHELL AND MOTHER-OF-PEARL INLAY HAMAM SLIPPERS, TURKEY, CIRCA 17TH CENTURY
Of typical form, the surface inlaid with mother-of-pearl carnations and rectangular sections to edges, circles to base on a tortoiseshell ground, with leather and thread attachment loops with metal thread and seed pearl decoration, with 18th century restoration - 9in. (23cm.) long (2)
