TWO OTTOMAN MECIDI ORDERS AND A QAJAR LION AND SUN ORDER, TURKEY AND IRAN, 19TH CENTURY
The Ottoman orders a seven pointed star in silver, with gold central medallion around which is a red enamel band bearing four plaques with the words 'Zeal, Devotion, Loyalty' and the year 1268AH (1852), between each ray of the star sit small crescents and stars, one suspended on a red ribbon with a square loop, the other with a round loop; the Lion and Sun order a six pointed star composed of rays of facets around a central gold and enamel plaque with lion (3)
