A PAIR OF QAJAR LACQUER WOOD DOORS, IRAN, LATE 19TH CENTURY
Of rectangular form, the front of the doors finely painted and divided into three scenes, the upper and lower sections depicting figures on horseback, the middle registers showing enthronement scenes, all set on a gilt ground of lush vegetation with wild animals, peacocks and cranes - each 17in x 64 1/4in. (43 x 163cm.) (2)
