A HOSHIAPUR IVORY INLAID WOODEN TABLE, INDIA, 19TH CENTURY
The octagonal table on slender legs inlaid with ivory decoration, the top with a circle within an eight pointed flower design against a background of dense spiralling tendrils, the sides with a frieze of square panels each with floral sprays, with ivory and ebony stringing along the edges - 24in. (61cm.) diam
