A GROUP OF CAUCASIAN DAGGERS, 18TH/19TH CENTURY
With flat wide blades, centre groove, the first with wood hilt with nielloed silver base and hilt in a flower and leaf design, applied decoration in form of rosette to top, stamped blade - 20 1/2in. (51.5cm.); the second with horn two-sided hilt with damascened steel applied rosettes and dividing band, the blade with scrolling damascene work with bird head terminals - 28in. (71cm.) long; the third with ivory and wood hilt - 21in. (53.2cm.) long; and a fourth knife with ivory handle (4)
