A CENTRAL INDIAN RED SANDSTONE FIGURE OF AN ATTENDANT, 12TH CENTURY
Carved with the female figure standing, her hair elaborately pinned up wearing beaded body adornments and large roundel earrings, her right arm hangs to her side, the other linked with a missing figure on her left who holds a tall flowerspray, she leans against the column that separates her from ram, elephant and dancing figure motifs - 25½in. (64.8cm) high, later mount.
