Of buff coloured ware, painted in black under a brilliant crackled turquoise glaze, with a central six-petalled rosette from which spiral half-flowers and leaves emerge, half flowers at the edge of each of the points of the tiles - 5 in. (13cm.) diam (hexagonal) and 5 5/8 in. (15cm.) long (border) (8)
