Gouache heightened with gold on paper, the grinning mullah wearing a white turban and brightly coloured robes sits on a low throne holding a rose in his right hand, an ornate carpet at his feet, with six smiling men behind, signed below by Mak and dated '66, mounted, framed and glazed - 17 1/2 x 15 1/4in (44.5 x 38.5cm)
