A flamboyant stage costume worn by David Bowie as Ziggy Stardust, 1973, the one-piece costume of asymmetrical design, the blue ground with silver nylon thread weave, appliquéd on the body and leg with a flame design in orange, red, yellow, gold and pink satin, the right arm with five graduated cascading panels similarly decorated and lined with acid yellow satin -- designed and made for David Bowie by Freddi Buretti, worn by Bowie for his last appearance as Ziggy Stardust, Marquee Club, London, November, 1973
