According to the vendor, these signatures were acquired by her mother who met the Beatles when they made an unscheduled visit to the record shop where she worked in Exeter, located opposite the ABC theatre where the Beatles appeared on Thursday, 28th March, 1963. The vendor's mother recalls Paul asking whether Please Please Me was in stock yet; this, their first LP, had been released six days earlier on 22nd March.
