Lot Essay

These signatures were obtained at Heathrow Airport by an employee of Aer Lingus who later gave them to his nephew. The Beatles flew to Dublin on 7th November for their only appearance in the Republic of Ireland. They then travelled to Belfast the next day, returning to Heathrow later that evening, where these signatures were obtained. The letter accompanying this lot erroneously states that the signatures were obtained in September.
