Engraved with the Stuart arms and motto 'DIEU ET MON DROIT' and the date 1671, the rim with a design of foliage and the initials 'THM' in triad form, worn touch of a cockerel and the initials 'IC' under rim, possibly that of John Coursey (O.P.1156)
