With sloping sides and central boss, the bowl engraved with geometric patterns, punched initials 'MAB', touch of crowned monarch's head and the initials '?R' under rim

This dish, probably an alms or rosewater dish, is very rare to be decorated with straight line engraving as opposed to wrigglework and rare to be geometric as opposed to heraldic or naturalistic.
