the complete set of 18 etchings and aquatints printed from two plates, 1937, title page, text and justification (the prints on Chine collé, with the stamped signature on the justification, copy 134 of 150 (one of an uncertain number of impressions which were cut up and each of the 18 scenes individually mounted on Japon Impériale; there were also 850 copies on Montval), as authorized by Picasso and distributed by the embassy of the Spanish Republican Government in Paris, 1939, two of the scenes signed in pencil, numbered 134/150, the full support sheets, bound with paper guards, in very good condition, the binding in burgundy crushed morocco and black, red and gold marbled board, the artist's name and the title in gilt on spine, the endleaves marbled in black, red and gold (the binding with very minor wear at the extremities). 290 x 400 mm.
