eleven lithographs (six in colors), 1951, on Rives and Arches, Mourlot's first, second, second intermediate (in sanguine over light grey background), third, fourth, fifth (with additional ochre stone), sixth, seventh (with additional ochre stone), eighth (black stone only), ninth and tenth (final) states, Mourlot calls for five proofs of each state except the eighth and the signed and numbered edition of 50 in the final state, all with margins, minor surface soiling, some with pale scattered foxing, occasional soft handling creases in the margins, pale mat and time staining, a few slightly skinned areas in places at the reverse of the margin edges, otherwise all in very good condition
