Lot Essay

William Campion was born in Herefordshire. He entered the Society of Jesus at Watten near Saint Omer in 1624 and later became a Professed Father. He stayed with the mission for many years and later became a Rector of St. Francis Xavier's College in 1655. Afterwards he was appointed Rector of the House of Tertians at Ghent where he died on 28 September 1665.
