The dished rectangular top with re-entrant corners, above a plain frieze and shaped apron, on cabriole legs headed by stylised shells, terminating in shaped pad feet carved with herring-bone decoration, with a paper label printed 'THE PANTECHNICON /J.M.CREAN /28/29-3-60 /BELGRAVE SQUARE with blue chalk inscription '42', with another paper label printed 'BROWN & CO. (CHESTER) LTD 59036/WAREHOUSES, CHESTER.',with a chalk inscription 'CREAN/STORE'
