Diagonally crossbanded in walnut overall, the shaped top with fawn leather and gilt-tooled writing-surface, above three mahogany-lined frieze drawers flanked by two end-supports, with three mahogany-lined drawers and a plinth base, on brass castors, each drawer inscribed underneath in pencil either 'L' or 'R', the handles original
