A PAIR OF GEORGE III MAHOGANY OPEN ARMCHAIRS
THIRD QUARTER 18TH CENTURY
Each with a channelled frame, the oval padded back, armrests and seat covered in yellow foliate silk damask, the toprail carved with a patera, the armrests terminating in ribbon bows, above a serpentine apron carved with a conforming patera, on cabriole legs headed by paterae and foliage, with scrolled feet, minor restorations (2)
