The double-arched moulded cornice with later urn-finials, above a pair of doors with later plates enclosing a fitted interior of pigeon-holes and drawers around a pair of curved tabernacle doors flanked by Corinthian columns surmounted by giltwood classical figures, above a hinged flap enclosing a fitted interior of a removable central section of pigeon-holes and drawers flanked by graduated shelves with a drawer, above a well with a sliding cover, the base with three graduated drawers, the feet and handles replaced, the bureau interior drawers largely reveneered, with label on the reverse inscribed 'AQ420'
