Cylindrical with flared lip, on three-handled vase support above a domed foot, the cover with Classical warrior finial, inscribed around rim "To Ernest Edmund Henry Mallet Lord Vaughan, at his Baptism 1892, from his Aunt & Godmother Alice, Wife of William Archer 3rd.Earl Amherst", height 15 1/8 in. (38.5 cm.), 16.5 oz.
