A 19TH CENTURY RUSSIAN SILVER-GILT CHALICE,
MARK OF CD (script), MOSCOW, 1837,
The bowl applied with angels, acanthus leaves & set with opalescent bosses, Cyrillic inscription around rim, the pedestal foot similarly embossed with angels, (detached), 11¾ in. high (29.5 cm.), ALSO a pair of Victorian electroplated fish-servers with ivory handles imitating bamboo, blade & tines pierced with lily-pads & engraved with fish, weight of chalice 26 oz. (3)
