CH 27-70 Q nickel-finished lever movement stamped with the Geneva seal, 24 jewels, Gyromax balance, free sprung regulator, the black dial with applied diamond-set numerals, white gold feuille hands, two windows for day and month, three subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds combined with 12 hours register, 30 minutes register combined with leap year indicator, date combined with phases of the moon, in circular water-resistant-type case with screw back, downturned fluted lugs, two round chronograph buttons in the band, platinum Patek Philippe deployant clasp, case, dial and movement signed

Accompanied by Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin dated 10 February 2002 and Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1999 and its subsequent sale on 14 December 2000. Furthermore delivered with Patek Philippe platinum solid screw back number 4'126'003 and wooden and white gold setting pin.

Reference 3970 was in production from 1986 until 2004. The model is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, second edition, p. 305.
