With gilt-finished two train verge movement, chain fusée, finely chased, engraved and pierced scroll decorated balance cock and foot, turned pillars, hour repeating, en passant striking and alarm on two hammers onto a bell, the engine-turned silver dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic five minute divisions, central revolving alarm disc, window for date, the inner case with finely pierced and engraved scroll and foliage decorated band, the outer case similarly decorated and centred by a classical scene depicting two ladies, a cherub and a dog cherubs surrounded by for portraits to the band in high relief, hour repeating through the pendant, strike/silence lever underneath the bezel, dial and movement signed
