Signed La Esmeralda, Mexico, no. 3413 and unsigned, no. 1315, circa 1900
Both with jewelled lever movements, bimetallic compensation balances, minute repeating on two polished steel hammers onto two gongs, circular cases with repeating slides in the band, La Esmeralda with engine-turned gilt dial with Arabic numerals, plain openface case, cuvette, dial and movement signed; unsigned with silvered engine-turned dial with engraved floral and applied gilt floral decorated centre and border, Roman numerals, engine-turned case, front centred by an applied blank cartouche surrounded by engraved floral decoration, unsigned
