With gilt-finished fully jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, minute repeating on two polished steel hammers, glazed dust cover, gold cuvette, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic five minute divisions, gold spade hands, four subsidiary dials indicating month combined with leap year indicator, day, date and phases of the moon combined with lunar calendar and constant seconds, in heavy engine-turned case with a blank circular cartouche with engraved crown and tree to the front, repeating slide and chronograph button in the band, case numbered, cuvette signed and numbered

Kathleen H. Pritchard's Swiss Timepiece Makers 1775-1975 mentions that the watchmaking firm Th. Picard Fils in La Chaux de Fonds registered the trade mark "Dracip" in 1892. Based on the extremely high quality of the movement of the present watch it can therefore be assumed that the present watch was made by this firm.
