Reference ST 145.0023 is one of the largest watches ever made by Omega and was launched in 1970. Its bezel is coated with tungsten, an extremely durable and scratch-resistant metal.

The model, an icon of 1970s design with its colourful "exotic" dial, is extremely popular amongst collectors and also known as the "Anakin Skywalker Seamaster". It is illustrated in Omega Watches by John Goldberger, p. 157.
