Lot Essay

Accompanied by Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1963 and its subsequent sale on 8 October 1964.

The large Calatrava model reference 570 was introduced into the market in 1938, featuring either subsidiary or sweep centre seconds.

The sweep centre seconds version was produced in two series: the first fitted with a 12 SC movement was in production until 1950, the second with calibre 27 SC, such as the present watch, from 1950 until 1970.
