The arched brass dial with foliate spandrels to silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring with half hour and half quarter hour markers, matted center with oval plaque signed 'Wm Kipling London', above mock pendulum and date apertures, the arch with selection ring for 'George of England' and 'Riggadoon', the eight day movement with triple fusees and verge escapement, six knopped pillars, with music on nine-bells via eighteen hammers, playing two tunes, hour strike on further bell, the engraved backplate signed 'Wm Kipling London', the inverted bell top case with brass carrying-handle and glazed sides, on four foliate cast brass feet; pendulum, winder and case key
