A PARCEL-GILT GOTHIC STYLE ALTHAR PIECE
Continental, apparently unmarked
The octagonal spreading base supported by four turrets, the shaped base applied with an oval cut-glass coat-of-arms and six cabochon-cut garnets, the openworked body set with nine cut-glass plaques, each with a Saint within a gothic style frame, the centre plaque with the Virgin and inscribed "MEU CORCAU IMACULADO SERA TEUREEUC", four cabochon garnets and globular-cut agate - 37cm high (870gr gross)
