Tasting note: Initially very deep, velvety; dry, sinewy, good length. Always a class act..Most recently: rich, purple robe; initially subdued but opened up, rich, with almost butterscotch sweetness on palate and finish. Tannic, oaky. Last tasted at the Château, Oct 2001 (****) 2008 - 2020. M.B
