Of greenish tint, the flared bowl with three bands of white dots, above the humorous inscription Wunder wunder aber wunder H H H Esel obenn vogel andenn H H 'wonder of wonders, donkey above, birds under', with a blue donkey in a tree flanked by strutting birds and the date 1648 (remains of gilding to rim, minor flaking to enamels)
