The globular body with a red, blue, green, silvered and gilt Oriental
landscape of figures at various pursuits flanked by foliage and rocky outcrops, insects in flight, and buildings in the distance, the elongated swollen neck with stylised scrolls

Literature
Osthoff, 1995, pp. 137-139. Friedrich, Crown Prince and later King of Prussia, ordered opaque-black objects from the Potsdam glass workshop on the 25 August 1726. The 1738 inventory report from Monbijou (1738) lists several objects in opaque-black glass, 'woran Landschaften mit Silber, roth und blauen Blumen gemahlet' ('with landscapes painted in silver, red and blue flowers').
