CIRCA 1760, THE GLASS ENGLAND OR PERHAPS THE NETHERLANDS, PROBABLY ENGRAVED BY JACOB SANG OR HIS WORKSHOP
The funnel bowl with three gentlemen and a lady seated or standing around a table laid with four pipes, each with a goblet in hand, on a formal terrace, underneath the inscription DE GOEDE VERIAARING 'the fine Anniversary', the rim with a band of stylised pendant crosses, on a multi-knopped stem enclosing elongated tears, conical foot
