inscribed and indistinctly signed with a monogram 'Enlarged from the illustration in Kotzebues/"Voyage to the South Sea" Vol. I. BA' and titled and futher inscribed 'The Heiau of Keakealani at Kailua, North Kona, in the Bay of Kaiakekua, Hawaii, H.I. The Figures in the foreground are Princess Kinau (Mother of the Kings Kamehameha 4th & 5th) Princess/Kamamalu, and Keoni a Negro Attendant brought to the Island by Captain Cleveland.' on a slip of paper attatched to the mount
