Each rectangular panel finely carved with central hollow frame bordered at the top and bottom with narrow reticulated panels of confronting archaistic dragons, above large square panels of shou medallions flanked by further archaistic dragons and key-fret over the shaped aprons of confronting dragons, the feet and hinges mounted in baitong, the end panels with similar openwork borders at the outer edges, the hollow frame now with calligrapy in cursive script
