Made in four sections with a quatrefoil spherical top supported by a slender stem on a broad circular stepped base, decorated all over with lotus blooms and bands of ruyi heads, reserved on turquoise grounds

Lot Essay

A pair of cloisonné enamel and jade hat stands were recently sold in our New York Rooms, 19 September 2006, lot 98.
Also in our New York Rooms another pair of cloisonné hat stands of a slightly different form were sold on 20 March 2001, lot 52.
A further pair was offered in our Paris Rooms, 22 November 2005, lot 132.
And a single one sold in these Rooms, 7 November 2006, lot 108.
