Of spherical shape with cabriole spout and bracket handle, each side enamelled with a rectangular panel depicting birds perched on peony and prunus branches reserved on a ruby ground enamelled in famille rose with the Eight Buddhist Emblems, bajixiang, and scrolling lotus, the domed cover with lotus and shou characters around the gilded spherical knop, the base with a spurious Qianlong sealmark
